We are well-known for many types of fishing, most notably
our ability to catch one of the most exciting fish on the
Gulf: the cobia. The Necessity has a tall tower from which
we spot the migratory fish, then cast to them with a live
bait. We have won numerous cobia tournaments and set several
state and world records. We also target other pelagic fish
such as tuna, wahoo, dolphin, and billfish. Often we travel
down to the deepwater drilling platforms south of Alabama,
Mississippi, and Louisiana in search of bluewater species.
If it swims in the Gulf, we know where they live and how to
catch them!
Currently we hold 10
I.G.F.A. world records for flyfishing and light tackle. They
include Cobias, dolphin fish, rainbow runners and Almaco
Jacks. We also have 3 state records giving us a total of 13
records for our clients. We know sportfishing !
